The Finlayson-Pitts group is also part of AirUCI, an Organized Research Unit at UC Irvine. AirUCI is a multidisciplinary environmental research team dedicated to understanding and solving issues related to air pollution, climate change, water quality, and green technology and their effects on human health and well-being. AirUCI maintains shared equipment and has open multi-laboratory collaborations, both of which offer diverse and unique research solutions in addition to the capabilities within the individual laboratories.

The position is initially for one-year, effective January 2020 with the possibility of extension for a second year.
