University Communications and Marketing. The Web Content Specialist supports web and internet development efforts for the University and develops and maintains comprehensive, content-rich websites in concert with University goals and activities.
Essential Functions
•Develops dynamic and engaging content for university website.
•Monitors website content to ensure information displayed is both accurate and current.
•Evaluates and adjusts website content and architecture to improve functionality, marketing effectiveness and search engine visibility.
•Checks pages for quality and accessibility issues and addresses as needed.
•Provides support to departmental website content editors in WordPress CMS.
•Develops high-quality top-level pages and landing pages using current web development practices.
•Remains current on trends and priorities to create and maintain an up-to-date site.
