Basic Function

Cooperatively assist students with various healthcare subjects including but not limited to math, sciences, and writing (as feasible) through instruction and implementing study skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide face-to-face and/or online tutoring assistance to students as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Experience in helping students with coursework subject matter.
Progress towards an associate’s degree (15 credit hours), and successful completion of 1st and/or 2nd MEC program coursework with a grad of ‘B’ or higher.
or a combination of education, training, and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous tutoring or teaching experience of math, science, and/or healthcare subjects (Nursing & Allied Health) in a college setting. Associate’s in health sciences or related field.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Superior customer service skills; one-on-one and group tutoring experience; favorable faculty interaction; knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
