 Position Summary

he Senior Coordinator for Housing Assignments manages the day-to-day operations of the room assignment process for approximately 5,400 students and provides leadership for the Housing Management System (StarRez) as it interfaces with the University’s Student Information System, SCT Banner (Banner). Responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating and understanding the different needs of our students and our visitors
  • Making independent decisions based upon the integration of complex information
  • Supervising staff and student workers
  • Investigating housing issues and quickly determining a solution
  • Responding to calls and emails from concerned students and parents in a reasonable timeframe
  • Thinking analytical when reviewing complex data
  • Providing guidance to incoming students and their parents at New Student Orientation

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of relevant work experience is required. A Master’s degree and 3 years of relevant work experience are preferred.
