ECU Pirate Techs Student Computing Support Center is currently seeking Pirate Techs Technicians. Pirate Techs Technicians will provide face-to-face technology support and take support calls for the Student Help Desk.
Pirate Techs Technicians will support students’ technology devices but is not limited to the following tasks:
• Install Software
• Troubleshoot hardware and software
• Identify and remove spyware and viruses
• Troubleshoot and configure ECU’s wired and wireless network connection
• Install Windows 7, 8, & 10
• Install and configure Mac OS X is a plus
Good customer service skills are desired. Student should be reliable, outgoing, a strong team player, motivated, and able to take direction.

Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)

Student should have experience with installing software, troubleshooting hardware and software, identifying and removing both spyware and viruses. The student should understand how to troubleshoot wireless connectivity issues. The student should have experience with Windows 7,8, and 10. Experience with Mac OS X is a plus.
