Overview

The Psychology Program at St. Edward's University is seeking qualified applicants at the rank of Assistant Professor. We seek candidates with a commitment to undergraduate education and mentoring, strong communication skills, and collegiality.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will join an active department to teach four courses per semester, advise undergraduate students, pursue faculty development efforts, and participate in the wider life of the university and community. Teaching responsibilities will include core courses (e.g., Introductory Psychology, Statistics, Research Methods), as well as advanced courses in the major.



Qualifications

Ph.D. in Psychology required. Strong commitment to, and potential for excellence in, undergraduate teaching and collaborative research with students is required. Successful completion of an employment and/or criminal history background check required.
