Description The College of New Jersey seeks a part-time instructor to teach two courses of Basic Spanish I in the Fall, 2019. These courses meet on Monday and Thursday nights from 5:30-6:50pm and 7:00-8:20pm.

Applicants must demonstrate at least near-native fluency in Spanish and English, and hold an M.A. degree, or its equivalent, in Spanish or in foreign language education with an emphasis on the teaching of Spanish. An understanding of modern communicative approaches to language teaching, including task-based, proficiency-oriented instruction is highly desirable. Preferred qualifications include: prior experience teaching Spanish to American learners at the college level and an understanding of multimedia applications and Web-assisted instruction.
