Visiting Accounting Prof. of Professional Practice Non-Tenured Track
The accounting and finance department of the Roosevelt University is seeking a full-time one-year non-tenure track faculty member at the rank of professor of professional practice starting from August, 2019. Renewal is possible.
Candidates for this position will be expected to teach a broad range of courses in Accounting and Forensic Accounting courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. There are no requirements for research activities for this position, but having publications and current research projects are considered desirable.

Applicants must hold an ABD in Accounting or relevant field from a fully-accredited institution on or before August 15, 2019.
Applicants without a PhD will be considered only with a graduate degree in accounting and active CPA certification.
Preference will be given to applicants with a PhD in Accounting or related field from an AACSB accredited school. Teaching experience in a business college, especially prior experience teaching “core” accounting courses are also preferred. Evidence of an active research agenda in the accounting field and practical experience in accounting are also desirable.
Priority is given to applicants with an interest and experience in teaching both online and face-to-face courses. The normal teaching load for this position is 8 three credit hour courses per academic year.
Applicants must also have demonstrated evidence of successful teaching and involvement in scholarly activities.
