The Advancement Information Services team provides campus-wide Advancement enterprise systems for the UC San Diego community. We strive to consistently deliver quality and reliable information systems that help our campus achieve its administrative goals.

Responsibly for application of advanced business process and analysis concepts and organizational objectives to resolve highly complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Selects methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results. Ensures operational excellence by training client personnel; providing support when required.

Provides references, best practices, workflow explanations by creating appropriate documentation. Supported systems may include, but are not limited to services implemented using Blackbaud CRM, Blackbaud Internet Solutions, PaperSave and other connected campus systems. Collaborate with internal and external customers to translate business requirements and initiatives into successful IT projects. May act as a project manager to manage and analyze highly complex projects.

  • Employee must be available to work evenings and weekends.
  • Employee must be available to travel as required.

Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in related area; and/or equivalent experience/training.

  • Advanced knowledge of business and process analysis functions.

  • Demonstrated knowledge relating to the design of processes and software across the organization.

  • Understanding and skill in complex process and systems requirement documentation standards, such as Use Case modeling, User Story creations and narrative description.

  • Strong effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.

  • Experience working with specific vended solutions, including Blackbaud CRM, Blackbaud Financial Edge, Blackbaud Internet Solutions and Papersave document management system.

  • Job offer is contingent upon a satisfactory clearance based on background check results.
