DescriptionThe Department of Nursing at the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturer - Nursing Site Visitors from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made. Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be made semester-by-semester. Temporary Nursing Site Visitor appointments are not eligible for group health and life insurance benefits or leave accrual. Pay rate is dependent on the number of visits conducted. The position will serve as a site visitor for nurse practitioner students. Site visits will be done in person or by phone, and site visitors will be assigned no more than 6 students per semester. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule. The number of site visits will vary from 6 to a total of 12. Specialties include FNP, Adult/Gero and PMHNP program options.
This posting will be open until May 15, 2020 for open positions in the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
  • Master of Science in Nursing
  • Minimum of 3-years experience as either a Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, or an Adult Gero Nurse Practitioner
