Job Details

Trinity Christian College seeks a part-time Education Unit Data Specialist. The Education Unit Data Specialist supports the Director of Assessment and the Dean of Education with reports ensuring faculty and students are in compliance.  This is a 20 hour per week position.

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Retrieve data collected on behalf of the Education Unit and aggregate/store program data needed for Annual Program report and Title II reports due (each spring) and department reports
  • Assist Director of Assessment with the reports above
  • Assist Dean of Education with data for annual Program Review
  • Assist in collecting data from cooperating teachers and college supervisors
  • Maintain alumni and TEACH database
  • Use data to tell successes and stories of the education unit – distribute these to Mar Com and on social media
  • Process student teacher surveys for data use
  • Create and collect employer and alumni data
  • Data collection
  • Data aggregation
  • Maintain database
  • Disseminate data
  • Communicate progress on essential duties and responsibilities to supervisor on a monthly basis

An Associate’s degree, experience working with a range of data collection tools and/or databases and experience with administrative tasks are required.

  • Ability to learn and use CAMS database software, Moodle, and Google documents
