The Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies (FSI) is Stanford University's primary interdisciplinary research and teaching institute on international policy and international affairs. FSI is home to more than fifty faculty scholars and hundreds of other researchers and students—undergraduates, graduate and post-doctoral—who share an academic interest in international policy questions and challenges. FSI sponsors research and teaching programs, convenes conferences and seminars and hosts lectures by leading scholars and policymakers to advance understanding of the most pressing international policy challenges facing the world today. FSI also seeks to influence and shape policy by communicating research, data and ideas both in public and private to journalists and policymakers.

The Web Manager will play a critical role on FSI's communications team. Under the supervision of the Assistant Director for Communications, the Web Manager will ensure that the FSI website and its subdomains offer website visitors a modern and engaging experience. This will be achieved by collaborating closely with communications staff and other stakeholders throughout FSI, analyzing website analytics and educating website content authors about our standards, guidelines, and best practices for the web. This role will also be instrumental in identifying and resolving website bugs, executing the website content strategy, working with vendors to plan and develop new website features, and developing the long-term vision for the institute's web presence.
