DescriptionReporting directly to the Senior Director of Accounts Payable, the Financial Reporting Analyst A/P will gather, structure, and analyze disbursement and vendor related data for the Accounts Payable Department and other users within the Controller’s office. Under the guidance of and collaboration with the Senior Director and Assistant Directors, this position will design and analyze reports based upon business requirements and strategic needs. These reports will provide information to assist with evidence driven decision making and planning. As part of the ongoing analysis, this position will provide feedback and recommendations to improve processes, execute improvements (where applicable), make journal entry corrections, and provide supporting documentation. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least three (3) years of directly related experience. Demonstrated IBM Cognos Analytics experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

*Strong written and verbal communication skills.
*Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
*Ability to complete tasks in a consistent, reliable, and repeatable manner
*Must be able to work independently as well as with a team.
*Ability to develop standardized reporting packages that are thorough enough to provide valuable insight but also succinct enough to be quickly interpreted, understood, and acted upon.
*Capacity to develop excellent analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to manage, analyze, and interpret data.
*Individual must be results-oriented with a positive attitude and excellent listening skills.
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced knowledge of Excel.
*Must be comfortable with maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information.
