Pasquinelli Family Distinquished Chair in Real Estate

The Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate and the Chicago School of Real Estate at Roosevelt Univ. seeks a real estate leader to serve as the Pasquinelli Family Distinguished Chair of Real Estate.

Chicago has an exceptionally dynamic, strong, and comprehensive real estate industry that is a national leader in real estate transactions and development. Major industry firms have a presence in the city and support the Institute’s efforts through its Advisory Board, a key element in the Institute’s success.

The real estate program at Roosevelt University is a leader in developing professionals to serve in a wide array of positions in this industry. The Chicago School of Real Estate offers a Master of Science Degree in Real Estate, a real estate concentration in the MBA program, and a new undergraduate major in real estate. Approvals are being finalized for two Graduate Certificates in Real Estate, one in Real Estate Finance and Investments and one in Real Estate Development. The Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate also sponsors programs addressing the interests and needs of working professionals in all aspects of the industry and supporting student success.

The Pasquinelli Chair is a non-tenure track faculty position in the Real Estate Department of the Walter E. Heller College of Business.

The Distinguished Chair appointment is for three-years depending upon annual performance reviews.

Applicants must provide evidence of successful teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

In addition, evidence of professional service and involvement in the real estate industry is required.

The University seeks individuals with at least a master’s degree in business (preferably a PhD or a Juris Doctorate) and significant professional expertise in some of the following areas: real estate development; construction management; public/private development; asset and property management; feasibility and market analysis; and real estate quantitative methods.

Additionally, successful candidates will have a record of accomplishments suitable for appointment to a senior faculty position.
