The Grants Coordinator II will assist Sponsored Program Administrators in providing administrative and management services related to the acquisition and management of externally funded programs at the University of South Carolina

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Bachelor’s degree and 3 years business, personnel, grant-in-aid or public administration experience

Preferred QualificationsKnowledge/Skills/Abilities

Basic knowledge of the principles and practices of public and business administration. Working knowledge of budgets and budgeting practices. Ability to accurately input and process data related to sponsored project accounts. Working knowledge of Microsoft application software (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point). Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with office staff and other UofSC personnel. Ability to comprehend and properly apply government and UofSC polices, procedures and regulations.
