Job Summary
Research and Educational Foundations Adjunct Faculty assist with the instructional delivery of courses taken by both program and non-program majors. These individuals collaborate with program area faculty to implement quality REF instruction.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Research and Educational Foundations adjunct faculty teach up to 6 hours (2- 3 hours courses) per semester. Typical courses focus on foundations in research, assessment, and statistics at the graduate level as well as on undergraduate educational foundations and tests/measurement. Duties include:

  1. Instruction in traditional and online formats.
  2. Assessment of student learning outcomes.
  3. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Performance of other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications A Master's degree related to Educational Research required for teaching undergraduate courses; a PhD in Educational Research or related field required for graduate teaching.

Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated success in university teaching is preferred.
