Valdosta State University’s Kinesiology and Physical Education Department is seeking part-time faculty to teach activity courses (1000 level), wellness and CPR and first aid courses (2000 level), and potential nutrition courses (2430). All 1000 level courses are one hour credit that meet either on a MW or TTH. All 2000 level courses are two hour credit that meet either on MW or TTH. Course syllabi will be provided for each course. Instructors will need to update syllabi based on assignments, due dates, expectations, etc.

Positions will begin the first day of each semester hired: Fall (Aug., 2017-Dec. 2017) or Spring (Jan, 2017- May, 2017).

Required Qualifications

Must have earned a graduate degree in Kinesiology or a related field from a regionally accredited university with at least 18 graduate credit hours in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience at the college level both online and face-to-face.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform the essential duties of a position with or without reasonable accommodation.
