DescriptionThe Department ofMechanical and Biomedical Engineering (MBE) at Boise State University invitesapplications for an open-rank tenure/tenure-track faculty position (assistant,associate, or full professor). Applicants should have a commitment toexcellence in teaching and to making significant contributions in research.Senior applicants should have an established track record of research,teaching, and external funding. Junior applicants should articulate a researchprogram that has promise for external funding. Women, minorities andunder-represented groups are highly encouraged to apply. All outstandingcandidates will be considered, but preference will be given to applicants whocan communicate a research agenda consistent with our current and plannedtransdisciplinary doctoral programs:

 
  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Computing
  • Electrical and Computer Engineering (i.e. Robotics, Controls, Energy and other applicable areas)
  • Materials Science and Engineering
  • Systems Science and Engineering (Planned FY21)

 Requirements: An earned PhD in Mechanical Engineeringor related discipline is required at the time of appointment.
