Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
A successful candidate must be able to develop and teach graduate-level courses in forensic science, pursue a sustained research agenda, supervise graduate student research and actively participate in the continuous development of forensic science programming at SHSU.

Educational Requirements for the Position
Candidates for this faculty position shall have a doctoral degree in a relevant scientific field from an accredited university.

Experience Required for the Position
Relevant research/teaching experience in forensic science or a related natural science is required.

Other Requirements for the Position
Candidates are expected to be dedicated teachers, productive researchers, and professionals prepared to become actively engaged in the diverse programs administered by the College of Criminal Justice.
