Description:
The Clemson University School of Nursing is in search of an open-rank professor. This position is for a translational research nursing specialist skilled in designing and executing patient-oriented research that focuses on the dynamics of human disease, therapeutic interventions, clinical trials, or new technological innovations that can improve health outcomes. This is a faculty role that will seek grant funding and maintain a program of scholarly research in Translational Research with teaching in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs.
Responsibilities:
- Research, scholarship, and grant writing
- Classroom and clinical instruction
- Participation on departmental and university committees
- Student advising and additional faculty responsibilities
Qualifications:
Candidates must hold an earned doctorate in Nursing/related field and a beginning/established program of Translational Research.A record of successful higher education teaching is expected.Candidates must be eligible for RN licensure in South Carolina and national certification in their specialty.This is a full-time 9-month tenure/tenure-track appointment.
