Job Description Summary

The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Clarkson University invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates must have an outstanding record of accomplishment and have an interest in independent and collaborative research, and a desire to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Research areas of interest will focus on biomolecular engineering topics, including those that complement existing expertise among the faculty in the department https://www.clarkson.edu/academics/engineering/chemical-biomolecular-engineering and with Clarkson’s interdisciplinary research centers, including the Clarkson Institute for a Sustainable Environment (ISE), the Center for Air Resources Engineering and Science (CARES), the Center for Advanced Materials Processing (CAMP), and the Center for Rehabilitation Engineering, Science, & Technology (CREST). Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must have a doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field, impressive academic records, and demonstrated potentials for developing high impact research programs in areas of interest to the department. The successful candidate is also expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Chemical Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

The successful candidate will have expertise in Chemical Engineering or a related field in which he or she will be able to obtain research funding.
