The Biostatistics Division in the Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of Virginia School of Medicine seeks a post-doctoral research associate to work with Dr. Sarah Ratcliffe in both collaborative and methodological research. Projects will include methods development and analysis of multichannel streaming data for prediction of health outcomes, analyses of data for collaborative projects, and opportunities for guest lecturing. The selected candidate will be expected to participate in the development of publications for peer-reviewed journals, as well as on grant proposals to funding agencies.
Candidates must have a PhD in biostatistics, statistics or a related quantitative field, required in hand by appointment start date. Experience in statistical data analysis is preferred, including proficiency in R, Matlab and/or Stata. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as is the ability to work in a cross-functional team.
