Job Summary
The School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences seeks adjunct faculty to teach 1 or 2 courses a semester in the field of Chemistry and Biochemistry. The successful candidate will be expected to begin in the Fall 2019 term. He or she will be responsible for teaching up to two courses per semester.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Teach 1 to 2 courses a semester in the laboratory setting
  2. Grading
  3. Timely correspondence with students
  4. Setting and holding office hours weekly
  5. Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications Applicant must have earned an M.S. in Chemistry or closely related discipline with 18 graduate hours in Chemistry/Biochemistry coursework at the 500 graduate level or higher.

Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office. SOAR and Canvas knowledge a plus.

Preferred Qualifications Ph.D. in Chemistry or Biochemistry or closely related field.
