Position Summary

The Department of Insurance, Legal Studies and Real Estate in the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia seeks qualified applicants for a full-time tenure-track or tenured position in Legal Studies at the Assistant or Associate level, with an anticipated employment start date of August 1, 2020. Participation in service activities appropriate to the rank is expected. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.

Additional Requirements

All candidates must hold a juris doctorate or equivalent degree. For appointment as an associate professor, a research record commensurate with rank and demonstrated excellence in teaching legal studies at the graduate and/or undergraduate level also are required. To be eligible for tenure on appointment, candidates must be appointed as an associate professor, have been tenured at a prior institution, and bring a demonstrably national reputation to the institution. Candidates must be approved for tenure upon appointment before hire.
