Duties/Responsibilities:

•Create spreadsheets to upload bulk data into the Career Outcomes Survey
•Normalize survey data in Microsoft Access to ensure consistent spelling, capitalization, etc.
•Create data reports using MS Excel and MS Access
•Design digital promotional materials for the Career Outcomes Survey
•Distribute promotional slides and flyers in key locations across campus
•Organize and participate in Career Outcomes Survey promotional events

•Install software applications on Windows based machines
•Update firmware
•Create and distribute computer images
•Assemble student check-in equipment at Career Center events

Position Summary:

The UGA Career Center is looking for an energetic and motivated individual for up to 20 hours/week to help with collecting and processing career outcomes data. In addition, this person will serve as the assistant to the Career Center IT Team, supporting Windows 10 personal computers, laptops, iPads, Surfaces, and variety of peripherals, such as local and network printers, label printers, double monitors and scanners. The successful applicant must commit to working during the summer.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position:

MIS majors and graduate students preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies :

•Keen attention to detail
•Ability to think critically
•General computing knowledge
•Computer network literacy
•High level of proficiency with MS Office Suite
•Work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Demands:

•Lift 5 to 10 lbs.
•Sit and work at a computer work station for extended periods of time
