Job Description Summary:The School of Occupational Therapy at Husson University is looking for an adjunct faculty for the Fall semester to participate in teaching statistics and research design in the three course Research and Evidence-based Practice series.
Duties and Responsibilities:We are currently seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach applied behavioral research design and statistics as part of a three course evidence-based practice (EBP) series. The goal of these courses is to guide students to become critically informed consumers of research in support of evidence-based practice. This would involve developing and delivering content related to introductory level applied quantitative statistics including but not limited to descriptive and inferential statistics. In addition this role includes coordinating and overseeing at least two groups of four students through a structured EBP project that includes a literature search and development of a proposed project as well as preparation of an oral and poster presentation.
Education and Experience:The successful candidate must have a minimum of a Masters degree in a social, scientific, behavioral or health science including but not limited to Occupational Therapy, or a closely related discipline, a doctorate is preferred but not required. Experience with applied behavioral statistics required; teaching experience preferred but not required.
