Job Details
The Office of Undergraduate Financial Aid and Student Employment seeks a motivated individual for the position of Student Employment Program Coordinator. The coordinator will manage the Federal Work-Study Program, and engage students and staff across campus in the creation and administration of student jobs. The Student Employment Office is in the process of reviewing wage structures, student hiring systems, and new programming on campus. This newly-created position requires independent decision making and adaptability in an evolving campus employment ecosystem.

Responsibilities- Manage Federal Work-Study program and monitor NJ Sick Leave earnings, ensure compliance with state and federal employment regulations.
- Counsel students on campus job opportunities and facilitate the student hiring process.
- Train departmental supervisors on new Student Employment systems, and help develop campus-wide re-branding of Student Employment program.
- Assist Sr. Associate Director in developing new co-curricular, service, and research-oriented student employment opportunities on campus.
- Collaborate with campus partners to implement financial literacy programming and curriculum.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Three years of experience in student employment, student affairs, student aid administration, human resources, or equivalent work
- Excellent analytical, writing and speaking, and collaborative relationship building skills
Preferred:
- Familiarity with federal aid programs and employment law
