Job Details
Position Title: Recruitment and Employment Specialist
Salary: Low $40's
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field and a minimum of two (2) years related work experience or Associate’s Degree in appropriate field and a minimum of five (5) years of related work experience required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, the ability to learn College software, effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality required.Experience working in Human Resources and with Banner software preferred.Duties:
Responsible for the coordination and implementation of human resource processes and procedures, including but not limited to recruitment, employment, civil service processing, and payroll. Prepares, maintains, and distributes confidential reports including those used for College and human resources budget, labor matters and negotiations. May coordinate human resource’s projects. Models excellence in service to external and internal customers.

Mohawk Valley Community College has more than 800 full-time and part-time employees at our campuses in Utica and Rome, NY. We are located in the Central New York region at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains between Syracuse and Albany, NY in Oneida County.
