The Assistant Men's Basketball Coach- 2nd Assistant is responsible for all phases of developing and maintaining a successful Men's Basketball Program at the College through their support of the Head Men's Basketball Coach. This is a part-time seasonal position.

• Recruitment of potential student-athletes
• Practice preparation
• In and out-of season training
• Game/match day management
• Retention of quality student-athletes
• Ensure the success and safety of student athletes on and off the field
• Safe transportation of team members to and from away contests
• Adherence to all NJCAA, Region 19, RCSJ and Athletic Department rules and regulations
• Assist the Head Coach with fundraising and development of alumni and community relations
• Ability to be a team player within the Athletics Department and the College
• Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Executive Director of Athletics

Minimum Qualifications

• Past playing and/or coaching experience in the sport of basketball is required
• Associate's degree required
• Valid driver's license in good standing required
