Salisbury University, a member of the University System of Maryland, is a regionally accredited four-year comprehensive institution offering 60 distinct graduate and undergraduate programs. Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Registrar.   

Primary Job Duties: Direct all activities in the Registrar's Office, including all processes relevant to records and registration and maintaining compliance with COMAR, USM, MHEC, FERPA, and other relevant guidelines. The Registrar serves to protect the integrity of academic records at Salisbury University, including documentation of the academic transcripts and the curriculum (i.e., courses, programs, degrees). Additionally, The Registrar's Office provides services to students, faculty and staff pertaining to registration, course scheduling, academic calendars, enrollment and graduation. The Registrar is a key strategic partner for Enrollment Management, academic departments and deans, Graduate Studies, and other university units.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree and 5-7 years of experience in a related field. Outstanding proficiency in student information systems (preferably PeopleSoft); exceptional record of strong, insightful, supportive and visionary leadership within a Registrar's Office. Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and administrative skills are essential along with the ability to effectively communicate. Experience in university registrar functions is required

Must be detail-oriented and have excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral and written communication skills. Also, must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, independently, and in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.

This is a full-time, exempt, State position with a full benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position reports to the Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs.
