The Office Coordinator provides support in regard to administrative operations at the Reves Center. This position also assists in coordinating Reves Center and Reves Sponsored events, and with operational and building support.

Required Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in an office environment performing administrative support and customer service,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook),
• Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information,
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse internal and external constituencies to resolve problems, respond to inquiries, obtain and disseminate information,
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with a high degree of accuracy and minimal supervision. Outstanding interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills are required, with the ability to prioritize tasks, and meet established deadlines,
• Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and discretion: proper use of English grammar, verbal and written communication in styles and tones appropriate for various constituencies,
• Demonstrated experience working in a complex and fast-paced office environment,
• Commitment to teamwork and accountability with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement, taking an appropriate level of initiative.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a higher education setting that involves interfacing with diverse constituencies, including students, faculty, staff, administrators, donors and the broader public,
• Experience supporting multiple individuals or programs in a professional office setting with competing priorities,
• Experience taking minutes for meetings,
• Previous experience with event planning and calendar management is highly preferred.
