Open Rank Professor (Mental Health)- School of Nursing

Location: CU Nursing, 605 Grove Rd. Greenville, SC 29605

The Clemson University School of Nursing is seeking new faculty members for an expanding academic unit committed to research and undergraduate/graduate education. This is a faculty role that will seek grant funding and maintain a program of scholarly research. This individual will also be teaching in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs in the specialty area of Mental Health.

Responsibilities:
• Research, scholarship, and grant writing
• Classroom and clinical instruction
• Participation on departmental and university committees
• Student advising and additional faculty responsibilities

Rank and Salary: Positions open for tenure track and tenured faculty: Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor. Salary commensurate with qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates should hold an earned doctorate in Nursing or related field and a beginning or established program of research; must have a background in Mental Health Nursing. A record of successful teaching in higher education is expected. Candidates must be eligible for RN licensure in South Carolina and national board certification in their specialty. This is a full-time, 9-month tenure/tenure-track appointment.
