Schedule Information: Will determine schedule based on student's availability.

Duties of Position:

Demonstrates subject proficiency.

Assists students in achieving understanding of specific subject material.

Helps students develop positive attitudes toward learning.

Establishes rapport on a one-to-one basis.

Aids students in accomplishing their academic goals.

Knows basic study techniques and is able to teach them to other students.

Maintains records of students tutored.

Participates in the tutor training programs.

Education Requirements: In order to apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least six credits per semester
