Job Details
SCAD seeks an Assistant Director of Training to perform individual and group counseling. In this role, you will also serve as an accommodation specialist, conducting outreach programming, maintaining an active caseload of students, providing community referrals as needed and attending weekly case conferences.
The Assistant Director oversees the coordination and oversight of the counseling and student support services training program for masters and doctoral level practicum and intern students. You will also consult with academic departments, residence life, the registrar office, academic affairs, admissions and other departments as needed regarding mental health issues.
Requirements:
•Master’s or doctorate degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field
•Clinical licensure or license eligible in counseling, psychology, social work
•Experience with clinical training and supervision required; experience and credentials as a clinical supervisor preferred
•Three or more years of experience working in college counseling preferred
