Job Title: Program Support Specialist Compliance, School of Nursing

POSITION SUMMARY

The Program Support Specialist will monitor and maintain student practicum/compliance documentation for the Divisions of Post-licensure and Masters Nursing in specified programs.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

Administrative Assistant/Staff Manager & Dean, School of Nursing, Post-licensure and Masters Nursing

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Maintain accurate documentation in a database to ensure ongoing data collection to develop reports
Generate student practicum paperwork communication and tracking.
  • Student evaluations:email communication, collect, summarize and store.

  • Generate student program startup documents and communication.
    • Oversee students’ compliance: background checks/drug screens/health requirements through a third-party provider.
      Communicate with Assistant Deans regarding identified issues related to compliance.
    • Respond to faculty and student emails/phone calls.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Education

      Baccalaureate Degree required.
    Experience

      Experience with Microsoft Office and IWU computer systems/willing to learn IWU computer systemsPrevious administrative experience, preferably in higher education.

      Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.

      Work independently and within a team environment
      Exceptional communication skills
      Confidentiality/Professionalism
