Responsibilities:

The Theatre School's Theatre Studies Department invites expressions of interest in part-time faculty teaching opportunities, for the 2019-2020 Academic Year, within the following areas:

Art Leadership/Theatre Management, Comedy, Dramaturgy/Criticism/Dramatic Literature, Theatre for Young Audiences/Education and Engagement, Playwriting, Theatre History and Theatre Arts.

In order to best serve the students, part-time faculty are expected to perform all duties and responsibilities of a faculty member that are commensurate and consistent with the faculty member's qualifications and the best interests of DePaul.

Required Qualifications:
M.F.A., PhD or equivalent professional experience in the subject area to be taught is required. Equivalent professional experience would be at least 10 years of professional experience or 5 years of professional experience and an undergraduate degree in a related field. A commitment to teaching is required; teaching experience on the college level is strongly desired. Ongoing activity in the relevant field is also desired.

The candidate must have demonstrated experience in working in teaching in an diverse learning environment.

Location
