Description:

The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific area of vascular surgery.

Teaching responsibilities may include instruction of medical students, general surgery residents and vascular surgery fellows, as well as trainees in the integrated general/vascular surgery residency program.

Clinical responsibilities may include in-patient and outpatient care in adult vascular surgery.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include pursuit of clinical and/or basic science research related to vascular surgery.

Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. They must also hold ABS sub-specialty certification in vascular surgery.

The successful candidate will serve as Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery and will practice at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, flagship institution of the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
