Job Summary

Role functions as a Human Resource Administrator in a multi-site University System of Georgia state college. Reporting to a Human Resource Manager, the position coordinates multiple HR programs (including, but not limited to: well-being, annual compliance, ethics (ethics week), employee recognition, and other training & development programs as assigned and needed).  Organizes and conducts onboarding for all new hires, provides consultation, and promotes HR services to assign client group(s).

Responsibilities

  • Functions as the program administrator for the institution’s programs (including, but not limited to: well-being, annual compliance, ethics (ethics week), employee recognition, and other training & development programs as assigned and needed).
  • Serves as the USG System Office functional lead and point of contact for USG initiatives/program(s).
  • Responsible for organizing well-being events.Manages and conducts well-being committee/champion meetings.Participates in, records and disseminates associated well-being information/initiates throughout the organization.Participates in monthly USG well-being calls, composes USG monthly activity reports, and proposes yearly USG Well-Being Grant submittals.
  • Stays abreast of employee benefits and retirement options, collects and ensures accuracy of new hire documents, updates and maintains new hire guidebook, facilitates onboarding training, and conducts new hire benefit orientations and provides other training as assigned and needed.
  • Maintains and provides research, revision, development, and updates for the institution’s annual compliance training.
  • Provides consultation to assigned client group(s), including, but not limited to: conducting 30/60 -day touch-base follow-up sessions with new employees, provides performance management guidance, participates in client group meetings/selection committees, and provides conflict/problem resolution management.
  • Completes and performs special assignments and other related duties as assigned and needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Four- year degree or an associate’s degree and two years of related experience; prefer some experience in a well-being or events management capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proposed Salary

$38,875 annually

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to provide solid project management (plan, monitor, track and execute) for a variety of events with attention to detail and strict adherence to deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work product in a fast paced environment
  • Solid understanding of office etiquette/practices
  • Ability to work well with GHC Colleagues, internal client groups, and all other organizational stakeholders.
