Position Description:
As a member of the Application Services team, the Associate Application Developer is responsible for the working as a part of a team to program, test, deploy and maintain application solutions supporting key business functions including faculty information systems and other business applications (finance, human resources, payroll and/or purchasing). The Associate Application Developer collaborates with team members to develop application specifications from functional requirements, develops programs using standard industry practices and methods to meet the design specifications and conducts unit and integration tests to ensure programs meet desired functionality; develops and maintains application documentation. Additional responsibilities include detailed problem analysis and bug fixing, system enhancements, interface development and supporting solution development activities related to improving business and operational processes. Provides after-hours support as needed or assigned.
