Wellness Applications adjuncts teach one-credit, pass/not pass courses that provide students with sustained and engaged wellness experiences, as well as perspectives on associated history, philosophical, and health considerations. There will be a wide variety of Applications offered each semester on topics such as yoga, bicycling, outdoor adventures, and mindfulness/meditation.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Where relevant, must hold current certification in the area of specialty to be taught.

Preferred Qualifications

A Master’s degree is preferred.

1.Students decide whether to enroll in a course based on a title and a short (3 sentences) course description. Please provide the title and course description for your proposed course or courses.
2.A requirement of these courses is to integrate experiential learning with 25%-40% academic content. Describe what students would experience in your course and what the academic curriculum would include. (max 300 words).
3.List several examples of readings you would assign for the academic portions of your class
Please make sure that your CV describes your qualifications to teach the course(s) you proposed, including relevant certifications, trainings, experience, etc.
Please attach relevant certifications in the “Other Doc” field.

You will be prompted to submit online the names and email addresses of three references who are familiar with your qualifications to teach these particular courses. These individuals will be contacted by the system with instructions on how to submit a letter of reference.
