The Department of Art and Art History, in the College of Arts and Sciences, is seeking a Lecturer in Photography/ Digital Imaging for a full time, non-tenure track appointment for Academic Year 2019-20. The responsibilities of the position include teaching four undergraduate courses per semester and maintaining regular office hours for students each week. Ideal candidates will have camera and lens, as well as digital imaging experience. LightRoom, Photoshop and Digital Printing is a must and be willing to work with BA/BFA and MFA students. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in beginning and intermediate digital imaging in a Macintosh environment. The selected candidate will assist with the mentoring and critiquing of student work, and participating in planning and other special events as appropriate.
Qualifications: MFA in Studio Art required; two years teaching experience beyond graduate school preferred.
