The Assistant/Associate Director, Women's Basketball Operations will assist the Head Coach, Director of Basketball Operations and Recruiting Coordinator with all aspects of the Women’s Basketball program. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support for head women’s basketball coach and her assistant coaches for recruiting, practice or competitive needs.
  • Assist women’s basketball video coordinator with filming of games and practices, breaking down film and providing information for coaches to prepare for practice and competition.
  • Completes special assignments which require collecting, organizing and analyzing data and producing reports which may be the basis of significant decisions for Head Women’s Basketball Coach.
  • Assist Director of Basketball Operations with day to day needs of the women’s basketball program and all logistics associated with practice, travel, contests and other activities.
  • Produces highlight films for promotional recruitment and motivational use to include, but not limited to, graphics packages and post-production work. Coordinate with Creative Services department and coaching staff (i.e.: campus tour videos, facility tour videos, local area videos, recruiting videos, annual award show videos).
  • Manage and direct activities of student managers that assist with the daily operations of the basketball video operations.
  • Travel to all away contests and attend all practice activities.
  • Responsible for maintaining compliance with NCAA, Atlantic Coast Conference, institutional and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by Head Women’s Basketball Coach and Director of Basketball Operations.
  • Experience with Sportstec video software is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS;

The candidate for this position must have a minimum education of a Bachelor’s Degree, and preferred 2 years working in college athletics, specifically women’s basketball. .
