Serves as the P-Card Proxy and the back-up Human Resources Representative.

Responsible for ensuring the accurateness, completeness and timelines of the General Ledger reconciliation's of FSU Libraries. This includes E & G, Auxiliary, Sponsored Projects and Foundation. Using OMNI queries and reports, monitors the department's financial transactions such as requisitions, purchases orders, encumbrances, travel requests and expense reports to ensure compliance with University policies and procedures. Maintains accounts payable and receivable filing system.

Assists in ensuring a sound environment of internal controls and compliance by monitoring and reviewing travel and procurement activities to ensure compliance with University policies and procedures. Runs queries to identify outstanding items, which need to be processed. Monitors university document storage system for unpaid items and contacts vendors for additional information when needed. Compiles reports for monthly and end- of-year periodic reviews. Prepares monthly travel allocation report for Library Staff. Maintains travel files.

Proxies p-card transactions and performs the monthly P-Card reconciliation for assigned cards; timely and accurately codes and audits departmental P- card payments for FSU Libraries to ensure that each purchase has the correct accounting information, description, and is in compliance with the policies and procedures of the State of Florida and FSU. Maintains filing system of paid and
unpaid P-Card charges by card holder.

Serves as the backup HR transactional rep for FSU Libraries. Assists with job openings, monitoring the hiring processes to completion, assisting new employees with paperwork and payroll.Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalency and four years of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to four years.

Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing

Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.

Experience performing accurately in a detail oriented environment.

Experience using computers and applicable computer applications (ex: Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel)..

Experience prioritizing, organizing and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Experience compiling, reviewing, and reconciling data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.Preferred Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.

Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.

Knowledge of accounting systems and practices.Anticipated Salary Range Commensurate with education and experience.Pay Plan This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.Criminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
