The Staff Associate Senior is responsible for administering different internal and external exams, monitoring computerized testing labs to ensure their daily operation and supporting other testing services on and off campus.

    Assumes supervisory responsibility for the Department in the absence of the Director Makes recommendations for hiring part-timeCoordinates the administration of several state and national examsProvides schedules, training and supervision to part-time staff and test proctorsCoordinates special testing conditions for students from ACCESS servicesMaintains the security and integrity of test materialsMonitors the technical component of the computer labs to ensure their daily operation, including software and equipment connectionsCoordinates the administration of specialized computer testsComplies statistical reportsScores various academic, career and vocational examsPrepares budget projections
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree and four (4) years of related experience including one (1) year of supervisory experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of college organization, goals, and objectives, policies and proceduresKnowledge of the principles of office management and practicesPossess excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulationsAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the publicAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writingAbility to plan, assign and supervise work of subordinates
