Job Summary:
Teach Reading, Writing, and Language Arts concepts to students seeking to obtain their High School Equivalency Certificate (GED)

Classes range from Basic Reading/Literacy to Adult Secondary Education (ASE)

Classes meet two days a week in the morning from 9 AM to 12:30 PM or in the evening from 6 PM to 9:30PM

Classes begin August 19th and will continue for 8 weeks

Position Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in English, Speech Communication, Education or related field
Experience in teaching ABE, ASE/HSE, Vocational courses or ESL
Training or coursework in teaching reading, writing, and/or math
Experience with students from diverse backgrounds
Technology/Digital Literacy proficiency
Teacher certification/training or coursework in teaching methodology
ICCB ABE/ASE standards proficiency training

Master's degree in related field
