Reporting to the Assistant Dean in the Social Sciences, Education, and World Languages Division, Adjunct Faculty prepare course syllabi and design lessons, activities, assignments, and assessments to address different learning styles. Adjunct Faculty ensure that students successfully meet course objectives and outcomes. They also incorporate learning-centered principles and concepts that motivate students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational experience.

An Adjunct Faculty position requires a professional with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. They must be able to effectively use instructional and classroom technology to enhance teaching and learning. Successful Adjunct Faculty employ a holistic approach to student success, bring passion and enthusiasm to the classroom, and work collaboratively with students and colleagues.
