Position Summary

NYU’s Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Relationship Manager in our Office of Career Development. The Senior Relationship Manager will identify, cultivate, and strengthen relationships with corporate recruiters with focus on the consulting, luxury and retail, and entertainment and media industries to solicit interest in recruiting Stern full-time MBA students. S/he will manage the daily on-campus recruitment activities for these firms, including corporate presentations, interviews, office hours, and targeted networking receptions. The selected candidate will partner closely with career counselors to develop and deliver the necessary resources for successfully navigating the job search process. S/he will develop and conduct student workshops, review student resumes and cover letters, advise students on the recruitment process and provide feedback from prospective employers. S/he will also plan two annual Career Fairs and an annual Recruiters’ Day.

Qualifications

The selected candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (MBA or Master’s degree preferred) and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in human resources, corporate recruiting, career development, or related field. Candidates must possess a proven ability to cultivate corporate partnerships and develop placement initiatives. Excellent presentation, written and oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are also required. Experience in a corporate environment is highly preferred.
