Position SummaryPlan, develop, implement, and monitor engaging and innovative, interactive marketing and Web 2.0 communications for 50,000+ students and 16,000+ faculty and staff, spanning 15 global sites. Develop and implement innovative solutions for communicating with students spanning six continents throughout NYU's Global Network and unit Directors. Create and design presentations about digital media, UX solutions, and new creative initiatives. Oversee the Office of Student UX, Technology, and Engagement’s student internship program. Collaborate with intern team to create digital tools to assist the student experience. Help shape policies, procedures, and best practices regarding social media and technology.QualificationsRequired Education:Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, public affairs, or related field.Preferred Education:Master's Degree in marketing, communications, public affairs, or related field.Required Experience:2+ years of related and increasingly responsible experience, including research, writing, marketing (traditional and new media), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication. Ability to present in front of large crowds. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office and presentation software (PowerPoint, Keynote, Prezi). Basic knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and HTML. Strong organizational and planning skills. Exceptional knowledge of technology and trends, as well as online marketing best practices for communicating to a college audience.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Knowledge of branding and marketing principles and practices. Working knowledge of mobile applications, web and social media analytics, data management, and infographics.
