A postdoctoral research assistant position is available immediately to work on ultrasound and photoacoustic imaging in the Biomedical Engineering department at Tulane University. You will join our research group solving high impact preclinical and clinical research problems in a multidisciplinary environment. The successful candidate will be expected to design and evaluate experiments, prepare and publish significant research findings, and train and supervise other research staff.  Research experience in small animal preclinical imaging, particularly ultrasound and/or photoacoustic imaging, is preferred. Proficiency in programming using Matlab, C/C++, or Python is desired.

The salary for post-doctoral fellow is negotiable, commensurate with the experiences of the candidate.


: Doctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Imaging Physics, or related field.
