Preferred QualificationsPosition SummaryThis position primarily assists with service desk operations, providing first tier support through telephone, email, and chat/instant messaging. This includes documentation known problems and solutions in an internal knowledge base, as well as providing written guides and documentation for the Help Desk public website.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or CompetenciesExperience providing first tier tech support in large academic setting. Knowledgeable of IT processes, functions, best practices, and procedures.
Physical DemandsSitting at a workstation for long periods of time using keyboard, mouse and telephone.

Duties/Responsibilities Duties/ResponsibilitiesProvide 1st-teir technical support for UGA faculty, staff, and students for enterprise wide systems, including: UGAMail, MyID, eLearning Commons, PAWS, ArchPass Duo, etc. Application support for access/use of these systems (e.g. web browsers, email clients, mobile devices, etc.)
